Collection of 6 dissassembled calendars published by Olivetti, a European manufacture of office equipment. Five of the calendars feature the works of artists Masaccio (1956), Orne Ore Metelli (1964), Pietro Longhi (1965), Édouard Manet (1966), and Francesco del Cossa (1967). The 6th calendar from 1963, entitled "Anno Mille" features the 11th century frescoes in the basilica of Sant'Angelo in Formis near Capua, in Campania.

James L. Prestini (1908-1993) was an engineer turned artist who is famous for his wood turned bowls. He was an active practitioner of the Bauhaus tradition and a professor emeritus of architecture at the University of California at Berkeley, where he had taught beginning design classes and helped to develop the design laboratory.
